Having a small shop set up and storage space is limited. I found that wire shelving offered a cheap and versatile system for storage. I have used much of one wall. Wall area above tools and window. I have been very pleased with the amount of storage I have found. I have suspended the wider shelves with chain from the ceiling for lumber storage .

Anybody got their portable air compressor plumbed into a cabinet permanently. I have a 4hp/ 11 gallon oilless compressor I use for my nail guns. As you know oilless units are loud. I want to build a cabinet in an adjacent storage room and plumb a couple of quick connects in the shop.

Thinking about insulation in the cabinet to further soundproof. Worried about heat and air flow.
