I was assuming I would need to borrow a friends smaller SUV and small trailer.

I like #29.
The biggest hassle to move has got be the dust collector. It is a space hog unless disassembled and disassembly is a messy proposition. To make matters wose, when you are done making the mess there's nothing to clean it up with because your dust collector is in pieces!

Yea, disassembling a dust collector sounds awful...
That thread is bookmarked now. Love that this can be taken down so easy and fit into a smaller car!

I loaded a DC fully assembled in the passenger seat fully retracted to the rear in a Honda accord(86) after driving to Columbus in the wee morning hours. The seller commented that I had it all figured out prior to arrival(at 0600)(It barely fit and had to be inserted just so). I had blind faith in ss product description dimensions and my ability to estimate those not given. Shape was critical! I was quite relieved to hear him say that since it was accurate and R2D2 was quite comfy!
The driver seat back needed to be laid back while loading. Insert then rotate so to speak. Wheels forward handle back, front up.
Oh and it had a considerable amount of dry wall dust 'inside'.
