Sounds like you got a steal! Watch the sawdust session maintenance videos, you will be glad you did. A Zoom Spout Oiler will let you put the oil where you want it without making a mess.

should be on the left, and about only a 1/16" out of alignment with coupling at most.

That would be the drive coupler for your spt's (jointer, bandsaw, etc).

Thanks Bruce! Just watched a YouTube video and the guy had it coupled to a band saw. The jointer is still like an inch above the headstock. Does it matter if jointer is on left or right?

Jointer only works on left and is driven by the lower(idler) shaft.

#10 machine oil - sewing machine oil - 3 in one oil - turbine oil - electric motor oil - fan oil - zoom spout recommended. WD 40 - NO!

2 rip fences and 2 miter gauges each different?

Figured it out. The left handle was loose. Tightened it up which pulled the square nuts inside. Jointer is good.

Universal motor? My iPad must have corrected from universal arbor.

5-0-5 gauge is the small fine adjustment for the table. It goes 90-0-45 then right next to it is a small silver scale of 5-0-5. I have an extra of those.

Miter gauges are same. Just one has the grip attached.

One large fence and a smaller fence. Not sure where or what the smaller one does.

Here is the SS I just purchased. No I'm not selling it, easiest way to show pics.

9/10 inside

Blew out saw dust and cleaned outside so far after pics were taken. Oiling and waxing tomorrow. I want to take jointer apart er and go through it thoroughly.
