I decided to make mountainbreezes version of the sawdust deflector for my newest 520 and one of my 510's.

I sure do miss the rip scale upgrade on this 520. Not to worry though the X man is supposed to drop one off tomorrow. Fedx that is.

If, after the upgrade, you end up with rails that you can't use, PM me.mbcabinetmaker wrote:I decided to make mountainbreezes version of the sawdust deflector for my newest 520 and one of my 510's.

The X man came bright and early today.

This up grade is quick and simple. You just have to replace the front rails and glue the plastic indicator to the bottom of the rip fence.

I like to sand it lightly with fine sand paper and then clean with denatured alcohol.

It came with the set up blocks but I have a few already on hand.

One last step was to drill a hole in the back webbing to hang the remote for my dust collector.

Just before I stopped for lunch the UPS man dropped off this bag of space balls. Wow! They are getting expensive.
