New SS Mark VII Owner - Advice on Additional Tools/Accessories

Greetings all. We (my mother and I female woodworkers) have just purchased the MARK VII along with the band saw. We're looking forward to developing our woodworking skills. We're looking for advice on additional tools/accessories that folks have found they really like that have enhanced their SS. Some of the major projects that we want to tackle initially are: built in cabinets/desks in the bonus room, large enclosed book cases for the office, a free standing cabinet between the kitchen and family room that opens from both sides with glass in the doors potentially, some various tables and chairs and a playhouse in the back yard.
Based on what I'm describing, would it be beneficial to have the Jointer, Belt Sander or other Sander, Lathe Duplicator, Mortising Package, Biscuit Joiner or other tools/accessories?

Jointer for sure. Belt sander would be nice... and definitely a dust collection system!!

Well, technically the mark vii has a dust collection system built in...but i agree - get a seperate one

I agree with Easterngray and Damagi, but would also consider the mortising and biscuit cutter only as(when) needed. Shapers/routers will migrate to the top as they are needed also.
Your 'project' list is quite ambitious. You might want to consider some simpler(less time consuming) projects first.
Get comfortable with it all, then get gung-ho.

Thanks for the info Valee, it's just that there's some confusion between the two Mark7/MarkVII's. I'd vote ya buy the dust collector first, then maybe the jointer, belt sander as needed. So know ya get to put it together, and align it. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new toy.

It seems there be more confusion re the Mark VII/Mark 7 than the Mark 5/Mark V. Usually caused by not knowing of the 'other'.
Re Cornice boards, assume
nothing be 'square'.

A Mark VII or a Mark 7? There is a big difference.
Side Comment: IMHO Shopsmith really screwed up when they named the new system a Mark 7.

Almost a half century 'difference'.
As well as changing the 'Mark 5' to a 'Mark V'.
What we do not know is why.
I liked the homage to the VII, but agree it has (again) created cornfusion!:(
