Couple finished projects

Hi all,
I got a little one on the way in November. First one
. I made a bookcase and toy box. Got it done in time for the shower this past Sunday.
Bookcase:
Made from 1x6 pine, glued up panels
The shelves are supported with shelf pins. There are holes in the back that are lower so you can move the pins down to allow the shelves to swivle back. This can be used for skinny books that do not stand on end well(common with childrens books) and balls and some toys as well.
The shape of the sides makes it tip proof. Important!
Finish is paint
Toy Box:
MDF box wrapped with pine frames. Pretty heavy.
Finish is paint. Had a little red overspray on the inside. The toys should hide it

They work!

Had good fun making them. I hope they see much use in the years to come!
All done with a Mark V 500.
