Just got my Dad's SS and am in the process of cleaning and getting it back into shape. He never used it a lot but, I want it to shine.

The serial # is 101906

If I look correctly at the chart it was made in 1981.

What model # is it? I believe it is a 500.

What is the difference in a 500 and a 505?

A 505 is a 500 with the 510 worktable/carriage/fence and extension table. It does not include the adjustable legs nor the floating tables.
