i bought a mark v several years ago (about 40 so ) while i was still working.i never got to use it much what i did i liked it very much. it had been in an old house that was about to fall down, so i got it out and turned it on to see if it still worked. it run for a short time makeing a racket.then it made a louder racket and locked up.the parts in the head is all to peices. i need a complete head unit for it.i havent been able to find one nor find the price of a new one.

Robert, have you taken the belt cover yet to see what might have come apart. Is the belt intact? How do you know you need a complete headstock? You should be able to find several headstocks for sale on e-bay most days.
