Have you herd this before? "Honey look what I bought you can fix it"

SWMBO found this treasure at a garage sale and wanted to use it for a TV stand in the spare bedroom. It's the top half of an old hutch purchased for $10.00. After making room, running cable, and placing the TV on the new treasure we found that it wasn't very stable or pretty. So out to the shop I go to fire up the trusty SS.

This is what I come up with.

An insert for the top and bigger pads for the base to add stability

With TV in place SS comes through again (Hope SWMBO likes it).

I am not sure how to take your side bar.

There definitely are no prickle pear where we live in Iowa. last week it was in the single digits. I think it needs to be a little warmer for them to bloom.
We winter in Boulder City NV. I sometimes take walks in the dessert behind our house. This is the first time the dessert plants have bloomed like this in the last three years.

I saw the prickle pear in your posts and I noticed you were from Iowa. I was just asking because I didn't think they grew that far north. Boulder City doesn't surprise me at all.
