Doggy steps continued.
I used a V grove router bit to countersink the tapered bolts the taper angle was a little off but close enough. Something happened I don't understand some of the counter sync did not follow the predrilled holes but kind of made it's own path to the side making a less than craftsman look.

We are now in Klamath Falls, Oregon. It is 48 deg. Just went from rain to hail then sleet back to rain now sunshine. We are having fun now.
This is a view of the steps in use at the Klamath KOA. After looking at the picture a thought just occurred to me. If the stringers were a little thicker maybe 1 3/4 in we could use the steps and maybe I could make some husband points with SWMBO.

Pretty good thinking. That is one thing bad about a truck camper having to climb up in it. I had one when I was younger. Have a good and safe trip.
