So I am trying to 'finish' a WW project and I have a few dust nibs. Do I just sand them out with wet/dry sand paper? Will I get the finish back to the glossiness of the polyurethane I used if I progress with finer grits far enough?

I am still a newbie to this hobby. But, I have some experience with finishing....all of them bad:mad: :( :D  :( :D

I have had luck using an old crumpled kraft paper bag to rub out the dust nibs (and other minor surface imperfections). It does remove the "shine." But I restore the "shine" with good ole Johnson's paste wax. Apply, let dry, and hand rub with a soft cloth to the finish I wish. As a matter of fact, I just used this technique this morning and it passed inspection by SWMBO.
