Mark V Model 500 Shaper Mode

I'm new to this forum having just received a Mark V (500), my Shopsmith came with several attachments and I couldn't be happier. I've seen a youtube video that looked like a model 510 with a double tilting table with a Shopsmith in shaper mode, under the table, My question is the 500 able to do this over the table? Also my band saw is throwing the tire tire is worn, but looked serviceable. I just ordered another set is this a tire issue or an adjustment looking for other experiences with older tires etc.

Welcome to the Forum! Nice to see a new name coming up as having posted here.
If you don't mind adding your location that can be helpful, that being if someone is local to you they might be of great use for your learning curve.
If you don't have one already you need to get what is the bible of the shopsmith, Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone (PTWFE) book. In that book they have a lot of really valuable information on things like setting up the shaper in drill press mode.
Until you get the book this might be of help, it is the most current version of the book on line.

The bandsaw tires might be worn out or could have been put on incorrectly. The black tires are glued on. If it has another color then they are likely already been changed to a type that doesn't require glue. Pictures of what you have would be a real help in trouble shooting.
The other reason that tires might come off is if you run the bandsaw to fast. Having a manual for the bandsaw would also be of great use for the adjustments and instructions given.
Don't over look the search function here, there is a lot of good infomation already posted that might give you more insight into issues and solutions but never fell afraid to ask when you need help.

I ordered that book, waiting for it to arrive thank you for link I'm in Wetumka, OK I'll update profile.
Bandsaw tire is black and glue is gone what type of glue do I use here, and band saw was driven at slowest speed as per my manual.

You could have ordered the tires WITH the GLUE. It's just a contact glue. GOOD LUCK with replacing em.

Any Mark V can be converted to double tilt, however the current 'upgrade' is appropriate for 505 - 20 only. The upgrade is pricey.
But the Mark V headstock is not reversible(motor run direction), so setup and feed direction would be different.
Bottom line, possible, but likely not a good idea unless one understands all the things one must do differently.

Beeg I ordered neoprene tires blue ones say they don't need any glue just to soak in real hot water and will stretch around hubs.
