Turned Trio

Howdy,

Here was a brainstorm to get some turning practice and supply 3 in-laws with gifts to offset the racket I make in the house sometimes...

I used various glue-ups of walnut, maple, pau ferro, and one of the "Z" woods from Mexico to make the pens and sockets. The bases are 2 walnut and 1 mystery (used scrap-wood from the mahogany family, I think).

Spring is coming!

Nice looking pieces! As someone mentioned earlier, never seen something like that before so it becomes even more interesting.
