DC3300 Adaptation
Storage is always a problem for me. Attachments for use with the dust collector were often where they don't belong. Problem solved.

Beneath this shelf, I store a box full of dust collector attachments.
This also prevents the dust collection bag from getting snagged on those exposed screws.

I think we all have the same problem with the DC3300. Nice shelf. Does the shelf attach to the base or simply rest on the top of the box?
Best,
mike
Right now it just rests there. I don't plan to attach it unless somethings happens to warrant that.
The box that is there now does not efficiently utilize the available space. I am going to build a custom box that will make all of that available space accessible.

DC Tool Storage
The storage base is a good idea.
I made a storage device based on SS plans (from somewhere, many years ago). Can't figure out how to poste a picture.

The purpose of the radius is? Perhaps to let it fit at the bottom when not 'storing'?

The radius was intended to be a way of making the shelf clear the wheels. My wheels move back and forth maybe a 1/4" or more. If I brought the shelf straight out, I had interference with the wheel.
