PLEASE READ....OK so I just did it, I just bought a mark 7 and with it I got the circular sander, the band saw, the little sander, the lathe, the table saw, the router and shaper. Its brand new never used and I got it for $1800. The only problem is, I'm missing small parts. It looks amazing and I've tested it and it works fine. Can anyone tell me if I got a good deal and if the small parts like lathe chisels and 1/2 inch router arbor are a big thing to be missing??. I can't figure out if I have the parts to connect the little strip sander either. But I think I could call shopsmith to help me with it. Is $1800 a good deal for a brand new never used Mark 7 missing stuff? The poles and table pieces are all here and all the major parts. Anyone....?

If it is a true Mark 7, has a PowerPro headstock, and some SPT, it is a great deal.

Go to http://www.shopsmith.com/markvsite/standardaccess.htm to check out what is supposed to be in the standard accessories. If some things are missing, you can look them up on the same website to see prices.

Let us know, oh, get some pictures and post as well so we can see what you have. ..

Well, it is defenately a PowerPro. Looks like a double tilt Mark 7. Take some detailed pictures of all of the "stuff" you have so we can get a good look. Resize the pictures to 800 pixels or so, they will make navigation easier.

I am going to bed LOL, there will be far more knowledgeable peeps check in in time. Be patient, we are mostly old ....

You got one heck of a good deal. The small things you are missing are inexpensive, easily purchased. Congratulations!

For that sort of money, you should be ashamed of yourself. What you have just done is commit grand larceny.

It really does not matter what is missing. What is visible in the photograph that you posted is enough to say that you got a good deal.
