Single Headboard Bench

Post by ExtraMile »

I had to strip most of the cherry finish and all of the lacquer off, in order for the new finish (weathered grey, Rustoleum) to bond.

With this stain, I choose to Karate Kid it (wipe on, wipe off). By doing this, the stain, became semi transparent and therefore it allowed some of the previous cherry finish to poke, through. Thereby, appearing like antique copper.

I have mad love for this bench.

But it must go to the festival, later today :p
