Special order. Live edge, spaulted, red oak.

Since this type of plank was requested, the length of plank I had, would not support the letter 'S' I ran out of board length.

The customer is pleased, thus far.

The holes, under the months letters will receive key rings and wooden nickles for each birthday individual, they will dangle from the key rings!

The wooden nickles will be cut from slices of one inch dowel.

And yes, the 'T' is meant to look like a 'Cross' since this piece is for a Pastor friend!

Looks nice. I take it you used a router with a stencil pattern and brass bushing to do it? Or am I missing some super cool trick?

I'll be amazed if you say freehand with a plunge router. lol

Well now I have a far nicer router. A PC 892, with a fixed base and plunge.

I also bought a PC edge guide

A length of T Track and a 3 drawer base cabinet stand.

Oh and for the bonus 12.8 bdft of Bubinga.

All for $280.

I have the same router and edge guide. The edge guide is still in the blister pack. I do like the router.
