Again I'm late starting this. I tried Sunday but the site was not working for me at that time. This weeks read is on Sharpening. There is a pretty good discussion of the several ways to use the Shopsmith to sharpen. I've tried most of them and may be able to help answer questions. However, fair warning, I really consider myself an amateur sharpener.

Has any one used the SS grinding wheel to sharpen jointer knives?
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.
