Does anyone know at what angle the holes in the underneath of the chair seat are? I'm reglueing a chair, have the old glue cleaned out. I want to redrill the holes to clean em up.

Wow, Bob! I just checked on a number of my chairs and they are all different. I have an adult rocker that the angle is aprox 8 degrees. I have a childs rocker that the angle is closer to 5 degrees. My dinette chairs are straight in the front and 10 degrees on the back. My pool table has legs that are angled at 15 degrees, but I have seen straight legs on them too. I do knot think there is a standard; just whatever the builder makes them. You do knot have a matching chair to compare with?

Why drill? you say the old glue is cleaned out! Just dry assemble, then take apart, then using hide glue put it back together again.
