Need a Sanding Trick

Running out of time before Christmas!
I'm doing som spoons and spatchulas for presentsand they are hand sanding time consumers.
How else can I do this step more efficiently?
I'm referring to rounding the edges all the way around.I'm not making them round, just softening the edges. I have some pics of a previous bunch in the gallery probably on the last page.

Sorry no rabbit up my sleeve or in my hat but have you thought about mounting the sanding disk on one side of the shopsmith and the drum sander on the other end, both with fine paper and a light touch it might go faster???

I used a strip sander to shape and some lucets I made for my wife. See post #252 of this thread:

Although this is only helpful if you have a strip sander...

I believe that the inflatable drum sander available from SS would be your be your best option.

With the ability to vary the pressure they are very good at sanding those type edges. Slow the speed down and take short passes until you get the hang of it. After that operation move on the the flap sander recommended previously.

I have used the "back side" of the SS belt sander for doing some contour sanding.
