Sawdust everywhere
I have inherited my dad's mark 5 and am just now trying to figure it out. I began by trying to put the table saw together, am I'm pretty sure I've got all the parts in the proper place. But the lower guard that covers the blade has an open place in the top of it that allows sawdust to blow out all over the floor and me. Is this normal, or is there a piece missing? I can't seem to find a picture of the way it should look anywhere. Any ideas?y
More basic info needed
We don't even know what vintage the unit is. I'm guessing an older model if he got it from his dad. At least he has a lower guard!! I looked at Pete's pic and I don't have one of those plates. hmmm...

Why does this sound familiar?khemberger wrote:The hole that I am referring to is actually in front of the saw blade as you stand at the machine. It is directly behind the table angle adjustment about two by three inches in size.
