Another birthday present finished

I've been using the warmer weather and my Shopsmith to finish my youngest daughter's birthday present ON TIME!
Nothing original. Got the idea from the March 2003 issue of WOOD magazine. I like their projects as they seem to usually be within my skill set.

I won't talk about the flaws in it, or how long it took!

Well I like it sir.

How are the ends attached and did you dowel or just glue the layers together?

Very nice! The rolling pin and scraper make a nice combination. I'm sure your daughter will get many years of enjoyment out of them.

Very nice. When I showed it to my wife her first comment was: "I'd hate to cut on that and scratch the finish."
I guess if I make one I'll have to attach a picture hook.
Anyway, nice design and lovely work.

Made my mouth water, just to look at that beautiful pastry board!! Oh! for the good ol' days when I could eat as much Pastry as I could hold. Sometimes age has it's drawbacks.
Very Nice work,
fiatben
!
Is the scraper blade also made of wood to avoid marring the board?
