ERLover wroteJSBurger I agree, since I posted my ER quill question I found on CL a SS band saw on a stand with its own motor for $100 in Milwaukee, Wi, I live in Appleton, WI, 87 miles away, did a gentleman's agreement, will pick it up tomorrow by noon, I have done that b4, unfortunately, when I do that, I do not negotiate price, because I figure if they trust me to show up and I trust them to hold there end of the agreement it is a done deal unless I negotiated the price b4 hand. And this was/is a great price since most SS band saws go used for about 175 without being a free standing model.
That is a fantastic deal no mater which model the band saw is (cast iron or aluminum table). I always negotiate the price on the phone before the pickup. That way I have the cash to pay.
