I was referring to the cylinder at the back of the headstock covering the pulleys. I recognized the lamp.

That was my question about the lamp that was being answered. I should have clicked the link and viewed the other pictures, then it would have been evident. That is a pretty nice looking ER!

I have a SS DC, jointer and scroll saw and no need (nor room) for the crafter station other wise I would think this is a decent deal (at least for Montana)

Now this is a bargain. The ad. says Shopsmith, misc. Parts $15 .

What is pictured is a complete 10ER (disassembled) except for the base/legs.

To far for me to get but someone will get a good deal.

I've seen some scroll saws available on eBay and CL. Some were the free standing ones and some were the mounted versions. What would be a "good" offer or prices for the older models? The newer green scroll saws are listing for $500 or so while the "grey" models were listing for $150 to $200 or so. Any takes on buying these used? What would you all consider a good deal since they are listing new for $699 on the SS site web special at http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/specials/7DU626.htm
