I have added moderator permissions to the list from Maurice's post. Flarum is new to us as well, so please let me know if I missed any needed permission (Flarum didn't have moderator default permissions in the result from our conversion).

The accounts below have a new role "Moderator" badge (dark-red, that wasn't there before). I am not a mod so I cannot test or provide feedback. HopefulSSer also wasn't modded.

Can any of you confirm you have new abilities? Likley under the 3 dot menu when you hover over a post or topic.

I have found 6 distinct role badges. Admin has the first 5, and new mods have the 6th and 7th.

I've never touched a Flarum data structure, but the code reads like any modern PHP. I suspect the database can be queried to consolidate these roles. If it were me I'd trim down to 3 distinct types:

We are using the 7 - Moderators one (the one I changed to dark-red) for moderators. The others were created by default in the flarum setup/conversion. At some point I'll clean up some of the non-used ones.

Maurice add 'MODERATOR' to that list. Moderator is a alternate Id for communicating to other users. FWIW,

admin JPG is currently a global moderator. Is that the intended :category'?

Global Moderator is a left over from the conversion (we'll eventually clean up when things settle down with the new website) and doesn't do anything. Only the dark-red Moderator is an active moderator category.

Maurice For posts it shows Flag and Delete when I click on the ...
In the deleted post from PAYID POKIES ONLINE BEST AUSTRALIAN CASINOS 2026 by VIVINEASTY503 when I hover the cursor over the ... on the left it gives me a second ... on the right with the option to Restore or Delete Forever. With the right ... I can toggle between seeing the post and not seeing it.

Below shows the drop down menu when clicking on the 3 vertical dots from the left side pop in list.

Not having been a Moderator before this is all new to me.
