Suggestions
I have gotten lots of help with vrs. problems at the following sites
MacLife
MacWorld
MacOSX.com
Their own editors are great as well as those who frequent the forums. Yes, you get a wingnut once in a while but generally great help.

Yes and yes
I have both of those installed and the plugins show in the respective lists. Just for grins I went back to Explorer (which is no longer updated by Microsoft for the Mac) and even the chat screen is a bit strange.

Nick, I do a lot of AV work as well as woodworking at this Mac G4 and you are not quite there with the Mac versions. I can only see the chat info on a test. I use Firefox mostly but switched over to Safari and also tried Explorer. I have all the latest versions with updated plugins. Nothing I view l...

Mac User
I wish someone would let this Mac user in on how to view. I am updated on all the software involved but.......
I watch videos on other woodworking sites with no problems. I suspect the development is not quite complete.

Other checks
I checked safari and the same problem. In explorer things hung up. In my many years of teaching photography and computer it looks like some html code some where is non standard.
I hope someone setting this site up is reading this.

SS Channel
Something is awry with the site for this Mac user. I use firefox and get a window the is titled "addonChat". Firefox rejects 99% of this type of thing. It asks for a login which even if I had I would not use as I am not a chat person. I see the splash screen and the buttons for home, help ...

Wow
I am going to the shop and do some of your ideas. If photos are worth a thousand words yours are worth many more. I hope others will do the same when posting ideas.

Class
I have been a SS user since the late 70s. I took the beginners class a long time ago. I wanted to learn better to do some turning so I took the 2nd and 3rd classes in Tucson a week ago. I took the 2nd class for review and a look at whats new. The turning class is hands on and well worth it. For sure...

weight
I simply weight the glass that is on the outfeed table. I suppose some tape would also work.
