Re: Woodcraft coupon

You all received them for me. :D I live less than a 20 minutes from that store. It is actually in Tigard OR a suburb SW of Portland. Say hi as you come by Marc. ;) Thanks Russ. That is great! You need a mic and a cam if you want to participate interactively. Otherwise you can just watch. Your internet speed should be just fine.

Re: 3.5HP Router or Spindle Purchase???

Mine is pretty quiet if I don't run it above 18,000 RPM which I rarely do. I have it in a MDF box as part of my table with no other sound proofing. The noise level is not much different than my water cooled spindle but then again I might not be the best one to subjectively measure sound levels. Aft...

There is no standard out there, e.g. I think a lot of dust collector manufacturers/reviewers arbitrarily measure sound level at 10ft. from the dust collector. Most router manufactu...

Re: Connecting tubes

Ed, You may want to search the forum archives by searching for DOM with connector tubes, etc. Below are a couple of threads that discussed this, but I know I have seen several others. Hopefully John (jsburger) and others who have alternatives will respond as well with what they ended up using. I kn...
