I ended up with a very simple solution, that seems to be quite solid in use. I used 2x1" 1/4-20 bolts and a few washers per shoe to bolt the guide shoe to the right most track of the fence via the shoe slide under the shoe, and a t-nut under the shoe slide in the SS fence track. I could have in...

What size hole did you drill out the shoe holes? Did you offset the holes to better align with the ss t-nut?
This looks like a much simpler method of using this on the SS.
