With the recent conversations about the lathe universal tool rest I’ve been considering a purchase. For those who have one, can you advise the min spindle length it will handle?

Don't know why I'm so bothered by the swap of "smart motor" for "headstock" but I am. Guess I'm just an old codger who doesn't deal well with change!

Leave it to a two year old - first thing he figured out was that he could crawl between the front and back panels to hide from his Mom!
