One last question. This one also had a cast iron extension table. We’re these switched to aluminum at a later date?

Btw, could anyone tell me if the motor is about the same era? Do the oil cups require a special oil or will 3in1 work?here is a pic.

The craftsman top was given to me by a friend who was going to sell it for scrap. And all I had to do is use 1/4”
Plate for the the difference in mounting bolt location . I’ll eventually get a replacement top but for now it works great. (Even cuts down any vibration due to the extra weight).

I still have the original tubes. The short tubes I got from another seller ( don’t know what model they were from).

This is my 10e. It has a cast iron main table ( salvaged from on old craftsman). The original had been damaged from previous owner. The ways were cut down to about 34” due due space requirements in my utility room. The headrest is mounted on hinges so I just remove belt to swing it over for drill pr...
