My bad, Joe! Yes I did do that outline around the center scroll work. I clamped a jig to the front panel before assembly of the chest and routed away.

No Joe I didn't outline those dodads with the router. I'm lucky to keep things straight, smooth, and not get tear-outs with a router. Those were just glued on.
