I recently installed a DIY Power Pro. This youtube answers all the questions in detail. 3 new holes/side are drilled in the upper casting for the new motor mounts. The bottom pan is attached to the casting with the original 4 screws. The old motor mount screws on the bottom of the pan are discarded....

Did you follow the belt balancing proceedure? I just completed my new DIY Power Pro install and the balance proceedure is very simple. A few degree of rotation of the enccentric make a huge difference.
