Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
keonep Just curious. Did you drive the tapered pin out? Have you pulled the table leg all the way out? If it is out - consider posting pictures of the holes and the pin. I have a table from which I can remove the legs and rotate them (double tilt like) with out hammering the pins. I have pins (not ...

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
I'm still trying to diagnose the wobble, it seem that there is some movement between the posts and carriage as well as a little at the tie bar. This is only the front, there's no wobble in the rear. I haven't had a chance to remove the carriage but will hopefully do so over the weekend.

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
Well I got a .006 feeler gauge in there and it held super tight with zero wiggle however, I still have the movement in the table albeit a little bit less. It looks to me like the post from the carriage is moving a little bit in the front. Is there a way to tight the front height adjustment lock?

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
My fear is that the legs were bent in relation to the tie bar and then an attempt was made to fix it.... Do the holes look oblong? If so it possible that the aluminum has bent and I would also look very closely to make sure there are no cracks. If all looks good you could attempt to shim but gettin...

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
I put the lathe tool rest tube in the same tie bar hole and it's loose as well. I'm wondering if I could shim it with thin metal to create a tighter fit.....

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
The pin should go all the way in (nearly flush on both ends) .I strongly recommend NEW Tappered pins and verify that you are putting them in from the correct side of the post (see manual). The tapered pin isn't on the parts list and isn't on the parts diagram which is odd. Anyone know the part numb...

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
Ok guys sorry for the delay I was out of town. Here's where I'm at so far. I don't know if I need to replace the post or if the piece the post goes into is bad.

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
The camera is resting on the front of the main table so when I push to the side of the front the main table, it rotates which is why the blade looks like it's moving. You can look at the gaps between in the blade and the table insert and see that it's getting smaller and bigger as the main table mov...

Re: Horizontal Table Wobble
The camera is resting on the bench and the only thing moving is the table, the saw blade is stationary when I push on the side of the table. The table top bolts are tight and I don't get any up and down play so I don't think it's the trunnions. Those are also tight. I'll see if i can place something...
