Great! I use a fine stone to sharpen punches, but the angle you hold by hand is a little twitchy the first few times. Keep us posted....this is an exciting repro! Or as the bike people call it, a 'repop'.

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
Very cool! Sounds like a lot of progress. Don't need to laminate if the card stock is durable enough I should think. Any decent quality rotating head hole punch(not the imported crap) as they use for leather should work great on a thicker stock material. The hole needs to be sized for the eye gromme...

I will Write all these idea's down and see where I can take this. :) I have done similar stuff with Tru...

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
It would be REALLY slick if the ea disc could each be laminated. But that may be a pipe dream......

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
If she will Print them, I think she may be able to do it with the PDF Russ just posted. Thanks for the Offer. :) OK. Make sure she understands to print these on heavy cardboard stock like the originals. It would be nice if all the colors and printing were like the originals. I would buy three or fo...

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
There are a lot of the old Magna Manuals/Documents available or reproduced and found through this Shopsmith Forum Site. So far I do not know of any issues Shopsmith has had with that. Many of the Shopsmith manuals and instructions are available now for free as PDF's here on the Shopsmith Website. R...

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
It says (copyright symbol) 1953 Magna Engineering Corporation. A currently non-existent entity(IIUC). I think if I leave that part off I will be Okay. :) If it helps, I would be happy to remove my grommet and send you the two parts for printing. There's a small margin line that was faded and so I f...

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
It says (copyright symbol) 1953 Magna Engineering Corporation. A currently non-existent entity(IIUC). Yeah, but in the legalese of selling companies, a lot of that stuff like trademarks/copyrights moves along to the next owner(s). Like I said, I think it would be a bad idea to alert present-day Sho...

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
Thanks John I didn't know what to call them in my resent search. I change my search terms to eyelet kit and found some on Amazon. I just got to measure it when I get home then go to the print shop and see if she can make them. :D The only hitch you may have is copyright stuff. Some print...

Re: A 10ER with speed changer/Not close to Home
Kevin I know this lady that has a Print shop. I am thinking of ?? Asking her to print these discs. I know better than to dissect this one because it is in somewhat of a Good shape. The Crush Rivet in the middle would be Hard Pressed to recreate. I don't know if that is in her Wheelhouse or if anyon...
