Let’s see if posts any photos; I tried to reduce the quality. You are right about the Allen wrench head; my Torx screwdriver works, though.

Can anyone identify these parts and tell me what they are used for? “D” has a Torx head screw in the lower end that appears to be for locking something in the angled hole the Q-tip is in. These came with my Shopsmith ER, serial number R32797 (1947?). Is C a tail stock and E a headstock for the lath...

My Shopsmith is similar to this (2 belts), but name plate says it is a Model ER. Is that the same thing as Model 10E and/or Model 10ER? I’m new to the forum, too.
