Benmch Thank you for the Links they were very helpful. It was the pin that holds the spring that came out. I do not think it is the original pin. Repairing Quill Spring
I purchased a (1985) Mark V 510. The quill spring is not functioning. I am assuming it is broken. I live in Eagle WI.
