I attended one in Newark DE which was great in 2005. Can anyone tell if the Trav Acad is still held on the east coast? I'm of the imp. that the only TA instructor left is Rick Davis, assigned to West coast of US? Please let me know and thanks.

Woodburner, great idea. Why not develop this into a Circuit Rider Team who could send from their truck: an expert to home shops, for a price. An expert to school shops, with a gift of SS when appropriate? More details I've sent you off list.

I agree, AAW would be a good "model" and we have a nice AAW chapter, a woodturners club in NJ. Members are listed by real name & address.

Dear Glapi, I had the same problem. Called SS Cust Service and after many attempts, found the /hole/ in the inner end of the spring was broken. We replaced the whole assembly. Best quickest safest cheapest. They were mighty helpful. Jeff
