I must say that you folks' research into this new business venture, sounds like the days of "The Green Hornet" radio mystery show, & "Dick Tracy," close to the years when my dad bought his Mark V - 1960.

I agree, AAW would be a good "model" and we have a nice AAW chapter, a woodturners club in NJ. Members are listed by real name & address.

Quill spring assy
Dear Glapi, I had the same problem. Called SS Cust Service and after many attempts, found the /hole/ in the inner end of the spring was broken. We replaced the whole assembly. Best quickest safest cheapest. They were mighty helpful. Jeff
