For 2014, the penalty is $95/year for each adult, not $95/month. And I think it's likely that someone making $12,000/year will qualify for a subsidized rate. The Kaiser Family Foundation has a pretty simple-to-use calculator to calculate subsidies: http://kff.org/interactive/subsidy-calculator/ Gary

No, the auto-track bearings near the blade tension adjustment. My blade would run between the two bearings fine for a few seconds, then pop out of the gap and run on the edge of one of the bearings and squeal like crazy, then pop back into the gap and quiet back down. Maybe my blade tension wasn't q...

By close observation with my bandsaw running and the cover off (CAUTION!), I noticed that my squeal happened when the blade momentarily jumped from running in the gap between the bearings to running on the surface of one of the bearings. I fixed it by readjusting those bearings so that the gap betwe...

"I need something that will do what a feather board would do for me if it was located on the out feed side of the blade." Dusty- have you thought about "board buddies"? The Rockler picture shows them being used on both infeed and outfeed sides of the blade. Sorry, no personal exp...

So a "visual stop" instead of a mechanical stop. Cool!

As forgetful as I am, I'd have to have TOE ALERT stenciled in bright orange letters on the back of the drawer as well.

You could go with a square channel inside the 3 1/2" spindle instead. While the spindle is still square, cut it in half and rout or dado a 1 1/2" wide by 3/4" deep groove down the center of both pieces, then glue the halves back together. As long as the core touches the inner channel ...

A common procedure to check that a scroll saw blade is perpendicular to the table is to make a shallow cut in a block of wood (like the first cut shown in the video), then rotate the block 180 degrees on the table, without lifting the block from the table , and check to see if the back of the blade ...

We get summoned every year, and are assigned a group number. Then we call after 5 pm the evening before to see if our group number needs to appear. Three out of 4 times I don't have to appear, and I'm excused from serving for another year. One in 4 times I actually have to show up. Only served on a ...
