Re: Cordless nail gun

I have Black & Decker hand power tools. For what I do they have worked fine, and if they made a nail gun I would buy it so that I had just the one battery type. But I've not found a B&D cordless nail gun even on their site. I am assuming they do not make one.

Cordless nail gun

OK folks, I taught for 30 years so I know the old adage that there are no stupid questions just is not true  ! So, here goes and forgive my stupidity. I would like to purchase a cordless nailer for finishing that also serves as a stapler for light upholstery. And as I am just a hobbiest who is ...

Speed Control Box for Stand (Pro Planer)

I'm looking for the speed control box for a Shopsmith Pro Planer. Anyone have any ideas where one might be available. They are very expensive when ordered through Shopmith-more than I can currently afford.

Re: What Have I Purchased from Shopsmith

I am a Mac user, so don't know if Windows has equivalents, but would expect that it does. Mac comes with software that keeps track of passwords for you. There is other software that can be added that does the same thing. I, personally, have a paper list of usernames/passwords, but actually they are ...

Re: zopimchat?????????????????????????????

I run a Mac w/Safari browser. I did not even notice this until I read this thread. It shows up in the lower right corner of my browser, quite unobtrusive. As I often use chat services with online issues, I like that Shopsmith is attempting to make themselves more responsive.

Re: An idea for the forum...

I think this is a really good idea. I am still very inexperienced in woodworking, and having the visual that videos supply is wonderful. To have recommended videos from Shopsmith users would be great.

Re: Cutting plywood

Any suggestions on a plywood blade maker? Would be willing to buy one as I expect to do a considerable amount of plywood work shortly. Also, can one be purchased w/the 1.5" arbor? I know Shopsmith doesn't offer one anymore.

Cutting plywood

I have only a combination blade for the Shopsmith 520 table saw. I need to cut a piece of plywood into strips. The plywood is only about 3'X3', so it is not a size problem for the table saw. I am wondering if the combination blade is the correct blade to use. Will it suffice for plywood, or should I...
