sanding disc's

In my experience, sandpaper wears out really fast. For most pre-finish surface work I use handplanes and card scrapers. I mostly use w/d for sharpening, only use sandpaper occasionally before applying a finish and use w/d between cotes. For those uses it all works OK, but I doubt it would last long ...

Hi Bro, I sold mine on Craig's list for 2000.00 and it was like new condition.
Not the case with this one according to the pictures I see.

Sold the Mark 5

I was sorry to see it go down the road today.
It gave me hours of enjoyment since 1982.
But times change and we are down sizing and moving to FL.
SO it had to go.
I did save my Band saw and power stand.:(

Shopsmith Demo's

I can remember going to Shopsmith Demo's in the eighties and being welcomed as an owner. Also each time they gave out a free gift to the people watching.
It was a good place to pick up woodworking tips from other owners.

O-well nothing is the same anymore in this world!:(

Shopsmith Clock

Just happened to go on the forum today and there is a picture of the clock I use to have.
Looks like the picture was taken off of Craig's List where I sold my Mark 5 and attachments 2 days ago.

Moth balls or some herbs. When I was a kid everyone had one of these fully functioning
fertilizing stations in the back yard. They all had bees or wasps.
I'm having that trouble now with wasps in my plastic shed.
