The control sheave bearing seems to have some wobble in it with the part that comes out the end. Is it normal? Bearing seems to spin fine besides that. Probably a non-issue since it’s held in place by the nylon speed controller part. I’ll check with Motion with the info provided to see what they can...

I need to order new bearings to go into the eccentric so I can send Mike the parts he needs and the ones in there now are KOYO S375Z bearings. These appear to be no longer made. Does anyone know a suitable substitution? While I'm at it, I'm going to try and replace all my bearings because... why not...

The threads seem skippable if you can retain everything like the Mark V does. Not sure what the secret is (if there is any). I'm in talks now with Mike to give this a go.

Miken, if you think it'd be easier to simply remake this shaft, I do think it's the better option. Sounds like you have the tools necessary to make this happen. I'll send you a PM.

Okay, so the case and the male connectors aren’t attached to each other directly? It looked like the connectors were sort of pressed into the case. I have not noticed any screws that can be removed besides the one that holds the lightbulb post. I was thinking about graphite or something similar too ...
