Rotation, a little winkle with a screw driver, I saw movement. More PB, vertical position, rotation… DONE!

By my experience so far 'a real mess' just comes with the woodwork territory. A few more chips wouldn’t be quite disturbing.

Okay… I WAS able to tap the chuck back up the spindle, but didn’t see much change so far as how far down the spindle it had been in before.
