If adjusted to the rear cutting height then how much cutting would be done?

All I have looked at on you tube says that the amount movement is supposed to be 1/8 inch when measured by a Stright edge to set the height of the jointer blade. If I am wrong.....please let me know the correct height.

Cutting spacers? If the Shopsmith needed spacers Shopsmith would have included them? Maybe their intentions were good but I have no idea where to cut the spacers from and where to install them. Just confused things. Nobody has a simple instructions on how to correctly put together a Shopsmith V ends...
