There are a lot of holes missed pictures and descriptions, does anyone know if this will be addressed. Also items are placed in odd places and hard to find without extensive searches.

I recently bought a new to me 510 after I lost my original 34 year old 500 in a fire. On the carriage and the right tail piece mounted with screws to the bases is a small 3/8 to 1/2 ball joint I don’t recognize.
