I also like the New Forum... I was not trying to violate any forum rules, but was simply asking for some guideance... IF my post is in violation, would someone please delete it as that was not my intention... But after two heart surgeries, it is hard to look at all that equipment and not be able to ...

Need help pricing my ShopSmith to sell.

The problem could be that a lot of vendors don't know! Most of the ones that have told me that, then tried to sell me new equipment, because they say the Shopsmith is a piece of equipment that you will never be happy with!! But, I think most of us think a little different..

Try cutting a piece of plywood that has a straight edge. If it cuts clean, it is the lumber. If it still doesn't cut correctly, look at the cut edge and you should be able to tell if it is binding or a dull blade. Just an idea from a ol' country boy,, lol...

Just a quick way to check for the problem. Cut a small piece of plywood that has a straight edge. If it cuts the plywood fine, it is the lumber. If not, it's probally the blade or binding. But you should be able to tell by looking at the cut edge. Just a thought

greenvilleguy, I know some of the lures you are talking about!! I don't see why they wouldn't work.. That would be a good project to try!!! Catch a fish on one and people will be begging for you to build them one!!! Could turn into a sideline business for you!!!
