So i was able to get the serial # and it looks to be 1985 it is a 500 like my other one and I already have a belt sander bandsaw also on a stand and another jointer and a jig saw

So i was wondering if I got a steal or if I paid the going rate....
I dont know which mark 5 series it is yet but I got it for 670

There is also a craftsman toolbox that has most of the smaller attachments like the chuck and tool rest along with the sanding ...

Thank you all for this information who knew a budding hobby would turn into 1) a history lesson 2) a treasure hunt and lastly but in no way the least is proper care for one's personal belongings so it lasts another lifetime.

Yeah I just piled it all together would like to service the head unit before I start anything serious I am missing quite a few things as in example don't have anything to operate the lathe dead centers or drives the jigsaw was on the unit when I picked it up from the looks of it the planer belt ...

Okay here is the overall picture of main unit and then the accessories that came with it I also have the manuals and what appears to be the full self study course with companion book

Mark V-B Serial number SS 196393 was made in January 1985. In 1985 the Mark V 510 (and 505) were introduced. With the new models the original Table System Mark V became the Mark V 500. It is the Table system that defines which model it is. Yours ...

Hello everyone,
I have read several posts reading up on this ss that I had purchased at auction. And not for a bad price with everything that came with it but feel it is also missing some things that would need replaced. But alas the serial number I have looked it up and appears to be made in 1985 ...
