Trying to upload again. From your link looks like part229? But mine has the pins as part of the block. I crazy glued it so we'll see  Had to put some spacers behind the front rail to get it to sit level.

Re: Upgrading a 500 (1985)

Chapmanruss. About that pic of your addiction! Just WOW!!! Now I know why used parts are hard to find. :) Well, I found a 510 table and ordered the 520 rails from SS. Found a fence and ordered it as well. The guy I ordered the fence table from went on holidays and I had to wait 3 weeks to get ...

Re: Upgrading a 500 (1985)

Can I use a 510 table and attach the 520 fence rails to it and use the 520 fence?
Searched the forum and found out that both tables are the same size so I am assuming that the 520 fence will work as long as I have the 520 rails.
Am I correct? If yes then I need to get on ebay! :D :D :D

Re: Upgrading a 500 (1985)

The Canada/US exchange rate is ridiculous now. I don't think Ill be buying upgrades for a while. I bought the saw guards thinking they would fit my 500 but the table leg hits the dust collector outlet about two inches before the blade lines up with the insert. I also bought a 520 carriage only to fi...

Re: Upgrading a 500 (1985)

I appreciate the replies guys. Looks like I'll have to save some money. I wanted to upgrade to the 520 for the bigger table and extensions and better fence. I definitely have the 500 fence. Previous owner didn't have a guard of any kind. Not willing to do that. So I need the 520 table, extensions, g...

Re: Upgrading a 500 (1985)

Could I just go with the 555608 arbor? Its longer and 5/8". looks like I need some new blades anyway.
Could I just add the front and rear rail assemblies to my Mark 5 (500) table so I can use the better fence?
