I’ve been able to resolve first issues with saw guard but starting to think I should hange out to updated saw guard? Seems better. Any thoughts out there??

Thank you for your insights. The arbor felt fully seated but I didn’t force it further. I’ll examine, clean, lube, and try again.

I’ve acquired a ShopSmith and trying to set up. I’m installing saw guard that came with it but something is off. Part # on saw guard is 506156

Is it just the wrong saw guard?
