Re: Pipe Clamps using electrical conduit?
All of my pipe clamps are using 1/2 galvanized conduit. I have never had one slip or bend. If you use his wipe the pipe down with something to remove the oil film on it the first time. Some of mine are going on 40 years old

Re: so much for
It is warmer here this morning than it has been all week a balmy 9. The highs last week have been around 2 to 4 and the lows -15. To me this is just a normal winter that we use to have. All the call for global warming would not be happening if those crying about it would stop spreadin all their hot ...

Re: Dead brand new Powerpro
I would be pulling it off and sending it back. I think for the amount of money he spent and the length of time he has waited is long enough. It is not his fault that it does not work and ShopSmith shoud have been on ths problem several days ago. On another web site last week there was a question ask...

Re: Tradition
I usually buy 5 bags 40 lbs each. This will get us thru most of the winter. We have to take the feeders down when we start getting wrm days as the bear will eithereat them up or carry them away

It will be a while yet as the bear are still out and they love sunflower seeds. I went to TSC today and bought th...

Re: Joining plywood
I like the spline idea, but I'd orient the grain of the spline crossways to the seam, or maybe at a 45 degree angle. Busting a 1/8" thick spline lengthwise along the grain wouldn't take a whole lot of force. Of course, unless you have a mighty wide board to crosscut your splines from, you'd ne...

Re: Joining plywood
