Re: Downsize No More - Now Preparing to Move In
I also have 3 of the Honeywell lights from Sam's. Had them for less than a year but, so far, very happy with them. Lots of light. I will be adding more in the future.

Re: Garage door openner
Genie door openers have an issue with LED bulbs that causes radio interference with the remotes. See the bulletin here: http://www.geniecompany.com/data/news/p ... 4-2014.pdf. They list some bulbs that work OK. Maybe Chamberlin has found LED issues, also.

Re: Today in the shop (saying good by to some tools)
Home Depot and Lowes both take tool batteries to recycle. Menards likely does, also.

Ed, caught your reference. Today has always been a very significant day to me. But I'll have cake instead... birthday cake!

Al,
I'm sure you had some doubts before starting the canoe and it turned out beautiful.

Re: Work Sharp
I also have the Work Sharp knife sharpener. It works very well. I use an old 600 grit belt with compound to hone after the progressing through regular belts. Use it on all sorts of knives. Got it at Woodworking Show for special price/deal.

Re: Tool Identification
#5 looks like a leveling leg from a ladder but missing the attachment pieces. Similar to the one I have for my Little Giant ladder http://www.sears.com/little-giant-10600 ... ockType=G1

Re: spray ink question
I got some Marsh spray ink at Grainger. They likely will have to order it for you. Don't remember if I had to pay any shipping. You might check them. The spray ink does work well and can be sanded off the surface easily without having to clear coat beforehand.
